Inrō's billing is built around one idea: you pay for the contacts you actually message, not for how many followers you have. This article explains the plans, how pricing scales, and how to manage everything from inside the app.
Where to find your plan
Go to Profile → Subscription & add-ons (click your organization name in the bottom-left, then Subscription & add-ons). You'll see your current plan, your renewal date, a usage meter for the contacts you've activated this period, and a button to manage your plan.
The plans
Inrō has three self-serve plans, plus a done-for-you service plan.

A good way to try Inrō and run a few automations:
100 activated contacts per period
Up to 1,000 stored contacts
3 active scenarios
3 campaigns
10 folders
1 team member
50 free AI credits to try the AI Agent (up to 100 after you finish the onboarding checklist)
Pro (from €12.99/month)
The main plan for businesses and creators who automate at scale:
Usage-based activated contacts: no cap, the price scales with how many you activate (see below)
Unlimited scenarios, campaigns, folders, and stored contacts
Up to 10 team members
The AI Agent included at no extra cost, with no credit limit
Collect payments from contacts in DMs
Private API and MCP access
A 14-day free trial when you first sign up

Pro on a fixed yearly price (the full list price is €1,800):
Everything in Pro, billed once a year
10,000 activated contacts included per period
Unlimited team members
A predictable yearly cost with no usage scaling
Managed Account (from €200/month)
A done-for-you service where the Inrō team builds and runs your automations for you. It requires an active Pro subscription and is billed separately. See The Inrō Managed Account Plan for what's included.
How Pro pricing scales
On Pro, you start at €12.99/month for up to 500 activated contacts. As you activate more contacts in a period, the price moves up a band. A few examples:
Activated contacts in the period | Monthly price |
0 – 500 | €12.99 |
501 – 1,000 | €19.99 |
1,001 – 1,500 | €29.99 |
2,001 – 3,000 | €49.99 |
9,001 – 10,000 | €149.99 |
The bands keep rising with usage and level off at €999.99 once you pass 70,000 activated contacts in a period. You're always billed for the band your usage lands in, so the cost follows your real activity. To understand exactly what counts as an activation, see What Are Activated Contacts?
What happens when you hit your limit
This depends on your plan:
Free, Annual, and Trial have a fixed allowance (100, 10,000, and 1,000 activated contacts). When you reach it, your scenarios and campaigns stop messaging new contacts for the rest of the period, and Inrō prompts you to upgrade. You'll get a heads-up as you approach the cap.
Pro is never blocked. It has no cap, so your automations keep running. Your price follows the usage band you land in that period.
Contacts you've already activated this period don't count again, so reaching the limit is about how many unique new contacts you message, not how many messages you send.
Managing your subscription
Click Manage plan in the Subscription & add-ons panel. This opens the billing portal (powered by Stripe), where you can:
Upgrade or change your plan
Add or update your payment method
Update your billing and company details
View and download your invoices
Cancel your subscription
⚠️ Canceling takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your account stays active until then, and afterward you move to the Free plan (with its 100 activated contacts per period). Your data stays safe.
For company details, VAT, and where to find each invoice, see Your Invoices & Billing Details.
🐾 Netsuke's Tips
Check your usage mid-period at Subscription & add-ons. The meter shows exactly how many contacts you've activated so far.
The AI Agent is included free on Pro, with no credit drain. On the Free plan you use a small pool of AI credits instead. See AI Credits: What They Are and How to Check Them.
The trial gives you full Pro features for 14 days. The best way to judge the plan is to set up your real automations during it. See How to best use the trial & what happens next.
