How to best use the trial & what happens next?

Make the most of your 14-day Pro trial and understand exactly what changes when it ends.

When you sign up for Inrō, you get a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. This is your window to set up your real automations and see what Inrō can do before you pay anything. Here's how to use it well and what happens when it ends.

What your trial includes

For 14 days you get full Pro features, including:

  • Full access to Pro features: scenarios, the Inbox and CRM, campaigns, the AI Agent, and collecting payments from contacts in DMs

  • 1,000 activated contacts to test how Inrō scales your Instagram engagement

  • Automatic contact capture: once your Instagram account is synced, Inrō captures contacts from your organic posts, ads, collaborations, and more

How to make the most of your 14 days

  1. Finish onboarding. Complete the onboarding checklist so your account is fully set up (it also earns you free AI credits).

  2. Set up a few automations. Turn on a comment-to-DM or welcome scenario so you can watch real conversations flow in.

  3. Organize your contacts. Use folders and segments to group your audience for more targeted follow-up.

  4. Run a campaign. Send a personalized DM campaign to a segment and see how it performs.

  5. Try a template. Start from a pre-built scenario or campaign to launch quickly.

  6. Watch the Dashboard. Track your activated contacts and conversions so you can fine-tune as you go.

Add a payment method to keep Pro

To move smoothly from the trial onto paid Pro, add a payment method before your 14 days are up. You won't be charged until the trial ends.

If you'd rather wait, that's fine too. You can always upgrade later when you need it.

What happens when your trial ends

  • If you added a payment method, your subscription converts to paid Pro and everything keeps working.

  • If you didn't, Inrō won't charge you. Your trial ends there and your organization moves to the Free plan.

On the Free plan:

  • You get 100 activated contacts per period (down from 1,000).

  • You can keep 3 active scenarios and 3 campaigns.

  • If you go over those limits, your automations pause until the period resets or you upgrade.

Your data is always safe. Your contacts, scenarios, and campaigns stay in Inrō, and you can upgrade to Pro anytime to get the higher limits back. For the full plan comparison, see Subscription & Plans.

How to cancel your trial

If you decide Inrō isn't for you, go to Profile → Subscription & add-ons → Manage plan. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel. You keep Pro access until the trial period ends.

If you'd rather start paying right away and skip the rest of the trial, use Upgrade to Pro, which ends the trial and switches you to paid Pro immediately.

🐾 Netsuke's Tips

  • Set up your most important automation in the first day or two. The trial is most useful when real conversations are flowing, not when you're still planning.

  • Keep an eye on your activated contacts in Subscription & add-ons. With 1,000 included, most trials won't come close, but it's good to know where you stand. See What Are Activated Contacts?.

  • Adding a payment method doesn't charge you early. It only means you won't lose Pro access the moment the trial ends.
