If Instagram detects a security issue with your account's connection to Inrō, it may automatically disconnect the account. When that happens, Inrō notifies you right away so you can restore access quickly.
How you'll be notified
You'll hear about it through two channels:
Email: A notification goes to your organization's email address and to every user linked to the organization.
Instagram DM: If you've enabled Instagram notifications (the dashboard card asks you to send Inrō a DM on Instagram once), you'll also get a direct message on Instagram with a Reconnect button that links straight to the reconnect page.
Inrō double-checks the connection before alerting you, so a passing Meta hiccup doesn't trigger a false alarm. If the account stays disconnected, reminders go out 1, 3, 7 and 30 days later.
How to reconnect
Click the Reconnect Instagram link in the email, or the Reconnect button in the Instagram DM. Either one takes you to the Inrō reconnect page, where you can restore your connection in a few clicks.
⚠️ Reconnect as soon as you can to avoid any interruption to your automations and inbox.
What happens to your automations meanwhile
Scenarios and campaigns that would have run while you were disconnected are held instead of failing. Once you reconnect, a dashboard card lists the scenarios with paused runs, and each has a Run paused executions button where you choose a window: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days or All history. Runs outside the window you pick are cancelled, so choose the widest one you're comfortable with. Nobody who messaged or commented during the outage has to go without a reply.
