How to use the Inrō dashboard?

Get a bird's-eye view of your Inrō activity, track your core metrics, and jump straight into your recent campaigns and scenarios.

The Dashboard is your home screen in Inrō. In one glance you can see how many contacts you're reaching, how your automations are performing, and jump straight into a recent campaign or scenario to make a quick edit.

Open the Dashboard

Click Dashboard in the left-hand navigation. It's the first screen you land on after logging in, with your key metrics at the top and shortcuts to recent activity below.

The Dashboard showing the three metric cards, the date-range picker, and the recent automations and campaigns tables

The three metric cards

At the top you'll see three numbers, each with a tooltip and a growth arrow comparing it to the previous period of the same length:

  1. Available contacts are the people who can receive your messages. They've either sent you a message or replied to your message request. To understand how people become contacts, see How Are Contacts Added to Inrō?

  2. Activated contacts are the contacts who received a DM from one of your scenarios or campaigns this period. This number ties into your plan and billing, so it's worth watching. See What Are Activated Contacts?

  3. Conversions are the contacts who clicked a conversion link or replied to a survey in one of your campaigns or scenarios. This shows how well your messages drive action.

Choosing a date range

The date-range picker defaults to the last 30 days. Switch to a preset range or pick a custom one to filter every metric on the page. Comparing periods is the fastest way to spot which efforts are working, since each card shows its change against the matching previous period.

Recent automations and campaigns

Below the metrics, two compact tables give you a live read on your work:

  • Active automations lists up to five of your most recently run scenarios, each with its Executions and Conversions and when it last ran.

  • Recent campaigns lists up to five of your latest campaigns, each with Sent, Opened, and Conversions.

Click any scenario or campaign name to open it directly, so you can tweak the content or triggers without hunting through the menus. Each table also has a link to view all your scenarios or campaigns.

The "Get started with Inrō" checklist

When your account is new, the Dashboard shows a Get started with Inrō card with a short setup checklist (create a folder, build your first automation, set up your AI Agent, and connect with us on Instagram). Completing each step earns you free AI credits, and the card disappears once you've finished. You'll also see contextual cards here for setting up the AI Agent, connecting the MCP server, and inviting friends.

Go deeper with the Instagram metrics report

The Dashboard shows your live activity. For a deeper analysis, you can generate a detailed Instagram metrics report as a PDF. It breaks down your DMs, story replies, story mentions, and comments, with reply rates, reply times, follower-type breakdowns, and a topic analysis of what people message you about. Inrō builds it in the background and emails it to you when it's ready.

🐾 Netsuke's Tips

  • Compare time frames regularly. Watching how engagement and conversions move across date ranges tells you which campaigns and scenarios are actually pulling their weight.

  • Keep an eye on Activated contacts, since that's the number tied to your plan and pricing. If it's climbing fast, check your usage in Subscription & add-ons.

  • Use the quick links in the recent-activity tables to fix a dropping conversion rate on the spot, rather than navigating away and losing your place.
