Every tier includes the AI Agent, the Inrō API and MCP Server, unlimited contacts stored in your CRM, and unlimited active automations. Only activated contacts count against your allowance; see What Are Activated Contacts?.

Tier 1 doesn't include the Integrations page (Shopify, Calendly, Stripe, Make and the others) or the HTTP request step in automations.

On Tiers 4 and 5 you also get the Partner Dashboard to create and watch every client account from one place, and your own logo on your clients' sign-up pages.

To see your tier, open Profile → Billing & usage. The card shows your tier, when your allowances renew, and how many of your deal's accounts are in use.

How the monthly allowances work

Your activated contacts, AI credits and campaigns are shared across every Instagram account on your deal. Usage by account on Billing & usage shows how much each account has used. The allowances renew every month, on the date shown on the card.

For what spends an AI credit, see AI Credits: What They Are and How to Check Them.

Inrō warns you twice for each allowance: by email and with a card on your dashboard when you've used 80%, and again when it's used up.

When you reach a cap

On Billing & usage, open Manage your caps. Under What happens when you reach a cap, choose separately for contacts and for AI credits:

  • Stop at the cap (the default): new contacts stop being activated, or AI steps are skipped, until the month renews. Nothing is charged.

  • Keep going, bill me: anything past your allowance is billed at the end of the month, at the price Inrō shows you before you confirm. You add a card first. The invoices appear under Overage invoices.

  • Use my own OpenAI key (AI credits, Tier 2 and up): once the month's credits are spent, AI steps run on your own OpenAI key and Inrō charges nothing.

You can go back to Stop at the cap at any time.

⚠️ With Stop at the cap, automations that would activate a new contact wait instead of sending, and AI steps are skipped. If your automations go quiet near the end of a month, check your allowances first.

Upgrade or downgrade your tier

Tier changes happen on AppSumo. Click Upgrade your tier on Billing & usage, or Upgrade your tier on the Need more room? card on your dashboard, and AppSumo takes you through it. Inrō picks up the new tier on its own.

The Need more room? card on the dashboard, with the Upgrade your tier button that opens AppSumo.

If you move to a tier that covers fewer Instagram accounts, the accounts created most recently beyond the new number move to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and you can add them back if you upgrade again.

Refunds

AppSumo handles refunds, up to 60 days after purchase. If your deal is refunded or cancelled, every account on it moves to the Free plan, with the Free plan's limits. Your contacts and automations stay in Inrō. See Subscription & Plans: How Billing Works in Inrō for what the Free plan includes.

🐾 Netsuke's Tips

  • If an AI-heavy month is coming, set AI credits to Use my own OpenAI key (Tier 2 and up) so your agent keeps replying after the month's credits are spent.

  • Check Usage by account before adding another Instagram account to the deal: a busy new account draws on the same allowances as the others.

  • Keep Stop at the cap if you never want a bill. The 80% warning gives you time to decide before anything stops.
