Inrō’s AI Agent brings automated Instagram engagement to your fingertips. With just a few steps, you can activate the AI Add-on, configure your agent’s persona, and harness advanced training features.

It unlocks endless possibilities, making it ideal for businesses, creators, and brands looking to scale customer support, enhance engagement, or build immersive digital personas.


Part 1: Activating the AI Agent

Where to Find & Enable the AI Add-on

  1. Navigate to Account Settings and select Subscription & add-ons.

  2. Locate the AI Add-on and click Activate Add-on.

  3. Complete the payment process via Stripe by following the on-screen instructions.

  4. Once payment is confirmed, your AI Add-on is activated and ready for use.


Part 2: Exploring the AI Agent

Now that you’ve activated your AI Agent, it’s time to explore its interface and transform your Instagram automation. There are two key elements to understand: Training and Settings. This section will break down both areas so you can harness the full potential of your AI Agent.

A. Training Section

This section is dedicated to teaching your AI Agent about your brand, products, and persona. Provide accurate and detailed information so the AI can deliver responses that reflect your business. For example, include details like your brand story, product FAQs, or unique selling points.

Training Data Options

  • Utilize Your Own Data:

    Incorporate content from your existing sources. For example, you can include product descriptions, customer testimonials, or detailed FAQs to provide your AI with specific context.

  • Generate Training Data:
    This option automatically creates sample data based on your Instagram profile. It's great for getting a quick start if you’re unsure where to begin.

  • Improve Training Data / Remove Formatting:

    Use this feature to tidy and optimize your text. It enhances your data to ensure clarity and consistency, facilitating easier processing by the AI.

Testing Window

  • Real-Time Testing:
    The testing window on the right allows you to simulate various questions and review the AI's responses. Check for tone consistency, clarity, and whether the responses flow naturally.

  • Chat as a Specific Contact:
    This option allows you to simulate conversations using specific user details to observe how the AI personalizes its responses. It’s an excellent way to confirm that the AI effectively integrates contact data.

Final Steps in Training

  • Click Train My Agent whenever you make changes to update the AI’s knowledge.

  • Use the Global Activation Option to launch your AI Agent across all interactions.

💡 Pro Tip: If you prefer the AI Agent to trigger only in specific automations, leave the global activation switch off and add the AI Agent step in your custom scenarios.

B. Settings Screen

The Settings screen determines how your AI Agent behaves and interacts with your audience. Here is where you can customize its personality, response timing, and integration with user data for a seamless experience.

  1. Agent Persona

    • Role: Define the persona’s role (e.g., friendly assistant, expert advisor)

    • Tone: Choose a tone that matches your brand (upbeat, neutral, formal)

    • Style: Decide on the message style—whether the AI should deliver concise replies or more detailed explanations.

    • Additional Options: Enable features such as emoji usage or auto-liking messages for a more engaging experience.

  2. Reply Timing – Human Delay

    • Set a delay period to ensure the AI Agent doesn’t respond immediately if other automations or a human team is handling the conversation.

    • This is especially important if you have several automations running. For example, you could set a timer for a few minutes so the AI responds only if there’s no human reply or other trigger.

  3. Restricting Response Data

    • Enable this option to ensure the AI Agent relies exclusively on your provided training data, resulting in consistent and brand-aligned responses.

    • If this option is unchecked, the AI may augment your data with its own broader knowledge. When enabled, you can also specify fallback responses or establish parameters for handling conversations with insufficient data.

  4. Talk-to-Human Option

    • Customize how the AI should handle requests for human assistance.

    • Set up alerts to notify you when a user prefers to speak with a human, and define the response message that the AI should deliver in those cases.

  5. Contact Properties

    • Choose which user details, such as email, location, or any custom fields, the AI can use to personalize its responses. This feature fosters a more tailored interaction for each user.
