Make: Connect Inrō to 8,000+ Apps

Connect Inrō to Make (formerly Integromat) to sync contacts, trigger scenarios, and build no-code workflows with thousands of other apps.

Make (formerly Integromat) is a no-code platform that wires Inrō to thousands of other tools: your CRM, email platform, Google Sheets, Slack, and more. You build workflows in Make using Inrō's triggers and actions, no code required.

How to connect Make

In Inrō, open your account menu, go to Integrations & API, and find the Make card. Click Connect Make account.

You're taken to Make through an app-invitation link that adds the Inrō app to your Make account. Approve the connection there.

Back in Inrō, the Make card shows the connection date and a connected status, with a disconnect button.

When you then add an Inrō module inside a Make scenario, you select the Inrō connection you authorised here, so Make can act on your account on your behalf.

What you can do in Make

The Inrō app in Make gives you triggers and actions to use in your Make scenarios, centered on contacts and scenarios:

  • Watch created or updated contacts to fire a Make scenario whenever a contact is added or changed in Inrō.

  • Get, list, or search contacts to read contact data into other tools.

  • Update a contact to write data back to Inrō from another app.

  • Trigger a scenario to start an Inrō automation for a contact from any Make-connected event.

  • List scenarios and make a custom API call for more advanced flows.

The exact set of Inrō modules is maintained on Make's side and can change over time, so treat the list above as a guide and check what's available inside Make when you build your scenario.

Example workflows

Push new Inrō contacts to your CRM. Use the contact trigger to fire whenever a contact enters Inrō, then add a create-or-update step for your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive). New contacts flow into your CRM on their own.

Start an Inrō scenario from a form submission. Use a form tool like Typeform or Tally as your Make trigger. When someone submits, use the trigger-a-scenario step to fire a specific Inrō flow for that contact. This works well for onboarding or post-purchase sequences that begin outside Instagram.

Write external data back to an Inrō contact. When a contact finishes a quiz or survey on your site, update a contact property in Inrō so your AI Agent or later scenarios can use it.

🐾 Netsuke's Tips

  • The trigger-a-scenario step is the most useful thing Make does for Inrō. Any event anywhere (a Stripe payment, a Calendly booking from outside Instagram, a tag added in your CRM) can kick off an Inrō DM sequence.

  • To send data out of Inrō during a scenario, you don't need Make's trigger at all. Use the HTTP request action to POST to a Make webhook. See HTTP Requests: Connect Inrō to Any External API.

  • Make has a free tier. For a simple one-trigger, one-action flow like pushing contacts to a Google Sheet, the free plan is enough to start.

  • Keep your Inrō connection out of shared Make scenarios, and disconnect it from the Make card in Inrō if you stop using it.
