I. Introduction to Folders and Segments

Folders in Inrō help you manually organize and categorize your contacts to keep your inbox manageable and focused.

Segments, on the other hand, are dynamic groups created using filters in the CRM. They adapt automatically to changes in your contacts' attributes or activities, making them an invaluable tool for automation and personalization.

    • Name your folder and assign a color to make it visually distinct.

  2. Adding Contacts to Folders:

    • This manual grouping is ideal for a static organization based on your workflow.

    • Spam messages are stored in a dedicated spam folder.

    • To mark a message as spam, hover over the conversation preview, click the three dots, and select Mark as Spam.

  5. Folder Notifications:

  • Set notifications for specific folders to receive alerts for critical conversations.

  • This ensures timely responses to high-priority leads or clients.

III. Popular Use Cases for Folders

Here are some typical folder setups used by Inrō users:

  • Hot Prospects: Track leads that require immediate attention.

  • Clients: Group conversations with paying customers.

  • Pending Follow-Ups: Organize contacts needing additional engagement.

  • Campaign-Specific: Create folders for leads or contacts tied to specific campaigns.

  • Language-Based: Separate conversations by language to personalize outreach.

Pro Tip: Use consistent naming conventions and regularly maintain your folders to ensure smooth navigation and accuracy.

IV. Using Segments in Inrō

Segments are automated dynamic groups created in your CRM using filters. Unlike folders requiring manual organization, segments update automatically based on the conditions you set.

For example, new followers who meet the engagement criteria will be automatically added if you create a segment for the most engaged followers.

  1. Creating a Segment:

    • Navigate to your CRM and select Create Segment.

    • Use filters like engagement level, custom properties, or lead source to define your segment.

  2. Dynamic Updates:

    • Segments are always up-to-date as they adapt to real-time changes in your contacts' attributes.

    • You cannot manually add or remove contacts from a segment; the system handles it automatically based on your criteria.

V. Popular Use Cases for Segments

Here are some valuable segments you can set up in Inrō:

  • Influential Followers: Identify and group followers with significant followers or high growth rates.

  • Following/Not Following: Segment contacts based on whether they follow your account.

  • Most Engaged Contacts: Group the contacts who interact most with your content.

  • Custom Properties: Create segments for contacts with specific tags or attributes, like "VIP" or "Product Interest."

  • Lead Source: Automatically group contacts by their engagement with you (e.g., story replies, DMs, comments).

Pro Tip: Use segments to streamline automated campaigns and tailor your outreach strategies based on real-time data
