Things to know

  • When an image is attached, the message text is limited to 80 characters, shorter than the usual text limit, so keep it short and punchy.

  • Only image files work for this action.

  • Remove the image any time by clearing the selection in the picker, and your message limit returns to normal.

🐾 Netsuke's Tips

  • Use an image that shows what they get for following: a preview of your freebie, a product shot, or a friendly face. It gives people a reason to tap follow.

  • With only 80 characters, lead with the action: "Follow us and tap below to get your guide." Save the detail for the next step.

  • Test the action on yourself first to see how the image and button render in a real DM before you activate.
